Over the years, we've had the opportunity to work for a wide variety organizations and on many enlightening and challenging projects.  Here are just a few examples.

 

For a major university interested in better understanding the needs and experiences of women professors in the STEM fields, Opinion Studies conducted a series of focus groups among tenured and non-tenured faculty.  The effort was the first systematic collection of information by this university about women's experiences and retention barriers.  

Opinion Studies was contracted by a major university to conduct a community attitude/phone survey among residents of the surrounding city  and an online survey among chamber members to determine general attitudes toward the university as well as reactions to some specific plans.  

A land  developer was interested in better understanding why some community members were opposed to his proposed development.  Opinion Studies conducted phone interviews among city residents to determine the size of the opposition group and their specific complaints.
